Here’s What They Are Saying

  • I am going to start shortening my writing on Saturday. I am going to take Sunday and look at my dictionary.  I am going to work on my personal globals. I am going to...  I am going to... I am going to... I attended a writing short webinar with Allie in the height of COVID. I learned so much. And then: A Mark K foray into shortening your writing!! At 41 years into this amazing profession, the best investment I have ever made. Make your writing easier and your life better!!  Allie's Mark K phrasing series is THE BEST!

Karen Tyler, CCR(LA), CSR(TX), TCRR, CRR, CRC

  • When I decided to finish my final RPR leg, 225 testimony, earlier this year in memory of a dear friend who suddenly passed away who pushed me to finish, I didn’t know where to start. Test nerves have always been a thing for me and despite having been a CA CSR for seven years, I was at a loss. Allie had me send her a sample of my writing, which looked hopeless to me, and laid it out real simple. She gave me the advice I needed. Away I went to slog through it and try to get it done. I had never even passed a 225 in school. Slowly but surely I transcribed and practiced daily and improvements started happening. I missed my first test shot with sweaty fingers despite being totally relaxed before it started. But I whined a bit and came back at it again, determined to push through the nerves. I got my last leg on my second attempt. Allie was the plan and she pushed me gently in the right direction. Listen to her; she knows the way.

  • "Thanks to Allie’s guidance and advice as a coach, I was finally able to pass my RMR.  When COVID hit, I found myself with extra time and idle fingers.  Although I had been a reporter for many years, I had no idea where to start or what to practice in preparation for the tests.  Thankfully Allie was there for me.  She told me exactly what I needed to do, how to practice, what speeds to practice, and guided me every step of the way.  She analyzed my notes, revealed my weaknesses, and gave me the necessary tools to become a better writer.  Under her tutelage, I am a more confident writer and continue to utilize what she has taught me.  I am forever thankful for her expertise and willingness to help me achieve my goals!"

    Melinda J. Wall, CSR, RMR
